TransferLock Service

Prevents your Domain Name being transferred to another registrar without your express confirmation from the Domain Account owner via e-mail. This service provides protection from:

• Dubious Companies and Domain Name scammers who try to trick you into moving to their (invariably more expensive) registry
• Unauthorised transfers made by your employees (or children!)

NameSafe Service

The ultimate in Domain Name security, NameSafe prevents ALL unauthorised changes from being made to your domain name without authorisation from the account owner through e-mail. NameSafe prevents registrar transfers, just like TransferLock, and also prevents the following :

• account ownership updates

• name server updates

• contact updates

• moving domains between accounts

Important: To prevent being locked out yourself, be sure that your account email address is valid and that you have set a secret question on your account before enabling NameSafe for your domains.

DomainSync - Managing your domains just got easier!

With DomainSync, you can sync the expiration dates of your .COM and .NET domains to an anniversary date of your choosing. The following rules apply:

• The new date can be 1 to 11 months forward from the current expiration date.

• You will be charged a $7.00 service fee plus $1.00 per month of adjustment.

• There is a one month minimum charge for any order.

• There is an 11-month maximum adjustment to an anniversary date.

• You will not be charged for days moved within the new month of expiration, subject to minimum charge rule.

Private Registration Service (WHOIS Privacy)

Did you know that every time you register a domain name, your personal information has to be made available to anyone who wants it?
Its the law. Domain names are valuable commodities, and just like property, all domain name registrations are stored as a matter of public record, in a database called WHOIS. Unfortunately, every day, spammers from around the globe mine data from the WHOIS database to find your personal contact information. They use this information to send you SPAM or simply sell your information to the highest bidders. What information can they get? Give it a try. Spam Shield allows you to keep your email address private in the WHOIS. We will substitute your email address for a random email address (such as yourname54132432@privacypost.com). Emails sent to the PrivacyPost address will be SPAM-filtered and then forwarded to the e-mail address you provide. This allows you to comply with the legal requirements, but will stop domain-related SPAM from ever landing in your inbox!

Unlike competitive products, your new @PrivacyPost e-mail address will automatically change every 10 days for even more protection from those who mine the WHOIS database for e-mail addresses!
